In 1939, a European botanist does experiments in a tree in the little village of Almahue, in Chile’s Patagonia. When they see the results of the experiment, the whole town thinks he and his daughter Rayén are witches Rayén, and destroys their home... Several years later, at a university in Chile, Angela, a social anthropology student, decides to investigate a legend that exists in Almahue: the Legend of Malamor. The day of the presentation of her work, Angela realizes that her best friend, Patricia, has stolen his subject and presented it as her own. In fact, Patricia has gone to do his field research and traveled to Almahue. Since then, Angela decides that his friendship with Patricia is broken forever. But one day, a message comes to Angela’s iPhone: it’s a video where Angela can see the image of Patricia, totally desperate and asking for help. Angela is forced to go in search of her friend and see if the Legend of Malamor exists or is just figment of their terrified villagers. According to the legend, a spiteful witch called Rayen, cursed the entire village of Almahue: they will never feel love again and who dared to feel it could die. Angela must travel to the end of the world to save Patricia and find love…
